Hopper
Various models are available depending on type of feed and intensity of use:
- LIGHT: for feeding the CHAMPIGNON COMPOST BLOCK LINE or OYSTER COMPOST BLOCK LINE. The bottom of the chain conveyor must be 2 m wide to receive the material directly from a self-unloading truck, or 1.5 m wide for feeding via bucket loader or conveyor belt line
- MEDIUM: reinforced solution for heavier duty and higher capacity requirements
- HEAVY: very robust construction with marine quality chain for particularly heavy frequencies of use and high capacities
Characteristics
- Frame with wheels for towing by a tractor unit (except HEAVY model)
- Hydraulic system for movement on the ground
- Inverter to adjust chain conveyor speed
- Toothed mixer shaft to break up the lumps of compost
The support frame is made from hot-dip galvanised steel, the chain conveyor frame and sides are made from stainless steel to ensure maximum durability over time.
The HOPPER is used to convey and dose the compost or straw.
The hopper is filled with compost. The material is then conveyed by means of a slat conveyor to the dosing roller that regulates the quantity at the exit.
In addition to the CHAMPIGNON COMPOST BLOCK LINE and OYSTER COMPOST BLOCK LINE, it can also be used to feed the STRAW MIXING SYSTEM, the TUNNEL FILLING MACHINE or a conveyor belt line feeding the TUNNEL FILLING CASSETTE.
The machine can operate either in automatic mode as part of a line, or in manual mode.
The HOPPER is CE certified, as it is manufactured in compliance with European health and safety standards. ALPIE will be happy to evaluate requests for compliance with other standards.
