Pulling winch
In combination with other machines, the PULLING WINCH mechanises filling and emptying of the compost and casing soil from the shelves using a net. Different models are available for filling and emptying operations.
FILLING ONLY
1. Pulling winch with multiple rolls
- Speeds up filling operations: the rolls are already in position next to the shelf and the cables can be laid out on each shelf before filling begins
- Minimum maintenance: no elevator
EMPTYING ONLY
2. Pulling winch with multiple rolls
- Speeds up emptying: up to two spent beds at the same time
- Minimum maintenance: no elevator
FILLING AND/OR EMPTYING
3. Pulling winch with single roll and hydraulic elevator
- Reduced overall height to pass through the doors on the internal corridor side
- Adapts to shelving with different spacing between shelves
- The elevator can also be used for the ruffling machine

- Faster solution for filling and emptying with the same equipment
- Adapts to shelving with different spacing between shelves
Characteristics
- Inverter to adapt to the speed of the HEAD FILLING MACHINE
- Inverter and brake to keep winding speed constant for filling shelves over 30 m long
- Two-speed motor: to fill with both compost and casing soil
The choice of materials guarantees maximum durability over time:
- The PULLING WINCH WITH MULTIPLE ROLLS is made almost exclusively from hot-dip galvanised steel
- The PULLING WINCH WITH SINGLE ROLL is made mainly from stainless steel
Filling operations
The PULLING WINCH is positioned on the opposite side of the shelf to the filling equipment used and the roll is aligned with the shelf to be filled. The roll progressively winds the cable pulling the net loaded with the growing bed or compost in blocks, positioning it on the shelf. In the case of the CASING SOIL FILLING MACHINE, the roll is attached to the trolley by the cable to distribute the casing soil over the compost by means of the net.
Emptying operations
The PULLING WINCH is positioned in front of the shelf on the external side of the room and the net is attached to the roll which winds it while the spent bed falls onto the SHELF EMPTYING CONVEYOR BELT.
