Conveyor belt
The CONVEYOR BELT conveys the compost or casing soil to the HEAD FILLING MACHINE.
- Higher sides to minimise spillage of material
- Swivelling rear wheels for easy manual movement on the ground
Characteristics
Normally the belt is made from smooth rubber, but in cold countries it may be necessary to install a belt with slats to prevent the frozen compost from returning.
The frame bearing the front wheels is made from hot-dip galvanised steel, while the frame of the conveyor and sides are made from stainless steel to ensure maximum durability over time.
The CONVEYOR BELT conveys the compost or casing soil to the HEAD FILLING MACHINE during operations to load the growing bed on the shelf.
It can be fed by a HOPPER, or directly from a self-unloading truck.
The CONVEYOR BELT always works in combination with the HEAD FILLING MACHINE to form the shelf filling line.
The shelf filling line is CE certified, as it is manufactured in compliance with European safety and health protection standards. ALPIE will be happy to evaluate requests for compliance with other standards.
