Mushroom compost facilities

We manufacture machinery for mushroom compost facilities, from straw processing to production of blocks for both champignon and oyster mushrooms.
Our range of machinery can satisfy the most diverse production needs, depending on the size of structure and type of process of mushroom composting facilities. The larger capacity models are reinforced for more intensive and prolonged use.
All our mushroom machines are 100% “Made in ALPIE”, from product design through construction to final testing.
In addition to the champignon compost block line – our mainstay for the last 40 years – we have also developed a range of equipment for composting facilities!
How to recognise an ALPIE machine
Strength and durability
We create robust and reliable composting facility equipment able to withstand intensive use and wear over the years.
Customisation
Many machines are available in a range of models depending on the capacity of the facility and intensity of compost production.
Time savings
Our machines incorporate features to cut time and reduce the personnel needed for operations involving blocks or mushroom compost processing.
Autonomous control
Equipment is designed to simplify everyday use and require minimal maintenance over time.
The compost used to cultivate button or champignon mushrooms (Agaricus Bisporus) is produced in successive phases involving preparation and mixing of the straw with other ingredients, fermentation (Phase 1), pasteurisation (Phase 2) and incubation (Phase 3).
To do this, large quantities of material must be mixed, wetted and moved from one production area to another.
ALPIE makes machines to perform various functions in the process to produce compost for champignon and exotic mushrooms (e.g. oyster mushrooms Pleurotus Ostreatus):
- Machines for shredding the straw and mixing it with the other ingredients
- Machines for loading the compost into the bunkers/tunnels
- Machines for automatically emptying the compost from the tunnels
- Tunnel net washers
- Machines for packing the compost in blocks (for both champignon and oyster mushrooms)
Of course, we can’t explain all the details of the process here. You can find more information on the pages dedicated to the individual machines.
But we would like to invite you to find out more and count on us for whatever support you need.
In the meantime, welcome to the world of mushroom growing!
